๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ Users and invitations

From Settings โ†’ Users you manage who has access to the workshop, with which role, and you can invite new team members.


View the current users

The user list shows:

  • Name and email of each person.
  • Current role (Owner, Admin, Worker, Read-only).
  • Status (active / pending invitation acceptance).
  • Last access.

Invite a new user

  1. Click "+ Invite user".
  2. Enter the person's email.
  3. Select the role they will have.
  4. Click Send invitation.

The system generates an invitation link. The person will receive an email with the link to activate their account. If the email doesn't arrive, you can copy the link manually from the same screen and send it through another channel.

Invitation links expire after 7 days. If more than 7 days pass, you'll need to resend the invitation.


Change a user's role

In the user list, click the person's role dropdown and select the new role. The change takes effect immediately.

The Owner row is locked: their role can't be changed, and they can't be deactivated or deleted. Their buttons appear greyed out in the list.


Reset a user's password

If someone on the team can't log in, click the Reset password button (icon ๐Ÿ”„) on their row. You won't see any temporary password: what happens is that the system sends that person an email with a magic link so they can create a new password themselves. You never handle their password.


Deactivate a user

If someone leaves the team, deactivate their account (don't delete it โ€” this way you keep the history of changes they made). A deactivated user can't log in, but their past actions remain in the history.


Who can manage users?

Only Admins and Owners. Workers and Read-only users don't see this section.


Changing the Owner can't be done from the app. If you need to transfer ownership of the workshop to another person, contact support and the BolloPrint team will handle it for you.
