๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ Printers

The Printers section shows all the machines in the workshop and, if you have Bambu Lab printers connected, their real-time status.

Adding or editing printers

Managing printers (adding, editing, deleting) is done from Settings โ†’ Printers, not from this display section. Once added from Settings, they will automatically appear under "Printers"

Each printer appears as a card with:

  • Name and model.
  • Online/offline indicator (green dot = connected, red = disconnected).
  • If it is printing: the name of the current job and the progress percentage.
  • If it has Bambu connected: real-time bed and extruder temperatures.

You can search by name, model, or device reference. There is also a toggle between gallery view and list view.

A printer's detail

When you click on a printer you will see its full panel:

  • Device data: model, serial number, firmware version.
  • Current status: online/offline, job in progress.
  • Live temperatures: extruder, bed, and chamber.
  • Print progress: percentage bar + elapsed time and remaining time.
  • Active alerts: if the printer has any warning (low filament, sensor error, etc.).
  • Buttons: "View history" (past jobs for this printer) and "Update firmware" (if an update is available).

From the "Print history" button you will see a record of all completed jobs: their status, duration, material consumed, errors, and completion date.

If you click on any print, a window appears with its summary. If the print had errors, you will be able to see the details of those errors.

Bambu Lab integration

If you have Bambu Lab printers (X1C, P1S, A1 Mini, etc.), BolloPrint connects to Bambu Cloud to receive real-time data via SSE (Server-Sent Events). This means the printers' status updates automatically on screen without needing to reload.

To set up the integration (Admins and Owners only) go to Settings โ†’ Printers and fill in:

  • Your Bambu Lab account email.
  • Bambu Lab password

The integration is completely optional โ€” printers work in BolloPrint without it, simply without real-time data.

Who can see the printers?

All roles can see the printers panel. Only Admins and Owners can manage printers from Settings.
