Tags are a flexible way to classify and filter customers and orders. You can create whatever tags your workflow needs.
What are tags for?
Some common examples:
- On customers: "VIP", "Company", "Wholesaler", "Deferred payment", "Frequent shipping".
- On orders: "Urgent", "Custom", "Quality review", "Awaiting confirmation".
Tags let you filter the list of customers or orders by category in a single click.
Create a tag
- Go to Settings โ Tags.
- Click "+ New tag".
- Type the name and pick an identifying color.
- Save.
The tag is now available to assign to customers or orders.
Assign tags
- On customers: open the customer profile โ Tags section โ select the ones that apply.
- On orders: from the order detail โ Tags field.
You can assign several tags at once to the same customer or order.
Edit or delete tags
From Settings โ Tags you can change the name or color of an existing tag. If you delete a tag, it is removed from every customer and order it was assigned to.
Deleting a heavily used tag can make you lose classification information. It's better to rename it if you simply want to change the concept.
Who can manage tags?
Only Admins and Owners can create, edit, and delete tags. Workers can assign existing tags but cannot create new ones.
